Cone Beam CT
Our practice utilizes state-of-the-art, limited field cone-beam CT (computed tomography) technology that provides highly accurate, 3-D radiographic images for the diagnosis, planning and treatment of endodontic disease. This technology allows three-dimensional visualization of teeth, bone, sinuses and surrounding structures with minimal radiation to the patient, enabling a level of anatomical accuracy and patient care not possible with 2-D technologies (regular dental x-rays). With the addition of cone-beam CT technology to our office, our practice is committed to providing innovative, high-quality, patient care.
We use an advanced non-film computerized system, called digital radiography, which produces radiation levels up to 75 percent lower than those of conventional dental X-rays. The digital images produced can be optimized and displayed on large computer screens, enhancing patient communication.
Magnification and fiber optic illumination provided by the operating microscope aid in seeing small details inside your tooth.
Electronic Apex Locator
This small computer allows us to precisely measure the length of each canal, which will help ensure all roots are thoroughly cleaned. It also helps minimize the number of X-rays needed.
